Massachusetts divorce rate remains lowest in the country

Bruce Wilson over at Alternet.org presents unsurprising findings that not only has Massachusetts remained the state with the lowest divorce rate in the country five years after gay marriage was legalized but that from 2007 to 2008, the divorce rate continued to plummet from 2.3 to 2.0 per thousand.

Wilson was on the case often and early, beginning in 2006 when he already had shone a light on the data, indicating that while conservatives predicted the numerous social ills that would result from legalized gay marriage, the numbers actually seem to be going in the opposite directions.
