Gay kiss in front of Mormon church irks police.

Steve W. at Care2 posted earlier today alerting us that a gay couple who had a pass on each other cheek, were cited over the weekend and cuffed for the behavior. Officially, the church says that it was not homophobia but that the couple refused to leave the area and that is what warranted the action. They were told to leave for displaying, “inappropriate behavior.” The Church says that all public displays of affection are considered inappropriate. That may be true but something tells me that it’s rarely enforced on heterosexual couples.
